Verify that your handheld and collar receiver are paired.

  • To confirm this, turn your dial to any number and then press the button you use to signal static stimulation to your dog. Be careful to not touch the contact points to avoid feeling the static stimulation.
  • The collar’s indicator light will glow solid red while the button is being pressed if the system is paired.

Check the fit of the collar on your dog. Proper fit and placement of the collar is imperative for effective training and use. The health sensors and contact points must have direct contact with your dog’s skin.

Ensure the collar is fastened high on your dog’s neck with the device slightly to one side and snugly fit. You should only be able to fit one finger between the strap and your dog’s neck.

Establish a health sensor baseline. Every time you put the collar on your dog, it is important to make sure you wait for the collar to start tracking vitals allowing your hunt/training session to start with valid standard vitals. Do not remove the collar or turn it off during this time.

Using the collar before the baseline is set will result in inaccurate health sensor readings.

Lower the Health Alert Threshold level so less change in your dog’s vitals is required to cause an alert.
