MY SPORTDOG® YARDTRAINER 350 WON’T CHARGE / STOPPED TAKING A CHARGE

Check the charging port for damage and ensure the 3 charging pins are intact. Clear any dirt or debris that may have collected inside.


IMPORTANT: Do NOT attempt to charge the system if one or more pins are damaged or missing.

Plug into the charger and let charge for a full 12 hours.

Test the units for power after charging for 12 hours.


Collar: Press and hold the power button. The collar will beep five times and the indicator light will begin flashing green.

  • If you can get more than 5 beeps but the collar never powers on or if the collar light flashes red every few seconds instead, a new battery is needed.

Remote: Press and release each button on the remote. The indicator light will glow green with each press.

  • If the light is red, the battery will need to be replaced.
