Confirm power and a full charge to both units.

• If your collar or beeper is powered on and fully charged, the Indicator Light will flash green every 3 seconds. 
• If the remote is fully charged, the Indicator Light will glow green when pressing a button.
• If the collar or beeper flashes red every 3 seconds, the remote glows red when pressing a button or either unit has no power, charge your units. For more information, visit HOW TO CHARGE MY SPORTDOG® UPLANDHUNTER® 1875.

Ensure that your remote transmitter’s antenna has no visible damage. If you have a removable antenna, make sure that it is hand-tight.

Check your environment. Large obstructions like buildings, mountains, hills, and thick brush or trees can affect the range.

Make sure you are using the help of a second person to test the range. Have a friend take the collar and test different distances by confirming lights while you press the remote buttons.
