Ensure that both the handheld and collar have sufficient charge and are powered on.

Ensure the rubber charging port cover is secured in place on the handheld. If the cover does not stay in place or is missing, it is important that you replace it. Replacements can be ordered here. Clean any debris or dirt that has accumulated in the charging port.

Ensure that your handheld’s antenna and the collar have no visible damage.

Check your environment. Large obstructions like buildings, mountains, hills, and thick brush or trees can affect the range.
