MY CABELA'S® GUN DOG REMOTE TRAINER IS NOT CORRECTING MY DOG, OR MY DOG IS NOT RESPONDING
Ensure that both the remote transmitter and collar receiver are fully charged, and the collar is powered on.
- If fully charged and powered on, the collar receiver should blink green every 5 seconds, and the remote transmitter’s indicator bar at the top of the LCD screen will show a full battery icon.
- For more information on charging, visit HOW TO CHARGE YOUR CABELA’S GUN DOG REMOTE TRAINER.
Ensure that both contact points on your collar receiver are hand tight.
Verify that your remote transmitter and collar receiver are paired.
- To confirm this, make sure the LCD screen on the remote is set to any number above 00 and press the stimulation button used for that collar. The collar indicator light will light up or flash red while the button is being pressed.
- If the collar doesn’t light up, please pair your remote transmitter, and collar receiver. You can learn how to do that by referring to HOW TO PAIR THE CABELA’S GUN DOG® REMOTE TRANSMITTER AND COLLAR.
Ensure that the collar is delivering the stimulation.
- Turn the correction level on your remote transmitter to 15. Hold the Test Light Tool and place the collar receiver's contact points on the two wires of the tool. Press and hold the stimulation button on your remote. An amber-colored light will flash in the center of the Test Light Tool.
- If your collar is paired but you do not see a light on your test light tool, contact customer care.
