MY CABELA’S® GUN DOG GS-4100 OR GS-8100 REMOTE TRAINER WILL NOT HOLD A CHARGE

Depending on the frequency of use, the remote transmitter and collar receiver have a charge life of approximately 50-70 hours.

If you are still experiencing reduced charge life, your battery needs to be replaced. You can purchase a newcollar battery, a GS-8100 remote battery , or a GS-4100 remote battery on SportDOG.com. Please note that not all the accessories that come with the batteries apply to your system.
