HOW TO SET UP WAYPOINTS ON MY SPORTDOG® TEK 2.0

Important information

You must have a GPS Lock on your handheld to create Waypoints.

You can create a new Waypoint while viewing the Map, Tracking, and Compass Screens.

CREATE A WAYPOINT

Press the Waypoint button and select the option for where you would like the Way point marked.

• Current location: Mark your location as a Waypoint.
  • If GPS is disabled, the Waypoint will be placed at the map center. If the map is in Panning Mode, the Waypoint will be placed at the cursor location. You can always change the coordinates on the Waypoint Details Screen.
• Active Dog: Mark the location of a tracked dog as a Waypoint.
• Active Hunter: Mark the location of a tracked hunter as a Waypoint.
• Journal Note: Create a note in the active Journal about your current location. When complete, select the checkbox. A Journal icon will appear on the map at the location. View the note and other route details on the Journals Screen

Once you set the location, you can edit the waypoint information.

Use the arrow pad to navigate up to the information you would like to change. You can rename the waypoint, edit the coordinates, and add notes.
