HOW TO REPLACE THE BATTERIES IN YOUR SPORTDOG® LOCATOR BEACON

The batteries in your SportDOG® locator beacon should get approximately 250 hours of use between battery replacements.

GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR BATTERIES

Powering your unit off between uses will extend the life of your batteries.

Be sure you’re powering the unit off using the power button and not just loosening the colored lens to prevent damage to the lens seal.

Do not mix and match old and new batteries.

Ensure you are using 2 CR-2032 or 2 DL-2032 lithium coin cell batteries.

Using the flashing light mode will use less battery than the solid light mode.

Remove the lens from the light base by twisting it from Closed to Open.

Remove the old batteries and dispose of them according to your local battery disposal guidelines.
