HOW TO CHARGE MY SPORTDOG® YARDTRAINER 300

GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR BATTERY

  • Make sure to only charge the remote transmitter and collar when you see the low battery indicator. Overcharging the remote transmitter or collar can shorten the battery life.
    • Your collar will indicate a low battery with a red light flashing once every 4-5 seconds.
      • Please note that your collar will have a solid red light anytime you signal a correction from your remote. This is normal and should not be confused with the low battery indicator.
    • Your remote transmitter will indicate a low battery with a red light when any button on the remote is pressed.
  • Turn your collar off between charges to preserve your charge.
  • Charge your units once a month if you need to store them for long periods of time.

CHARGING YOUR SYSTEM

Start by lifting the rubber charging port cover on the remote transmitter or collar

The charger can only be inserted in one direction. Make sure to line up the notch on the charger with the ridge in the charging port. Plug the other end of the charger into a wall outlet.

The indicator light will be solid green when charging.

When the remote transmitter or collar is finished charging the indicator light will flash green.
