HOW TO CHARGE MY CABELA'S® GUN DOG GS-100 REMOTE TRAINER

YardTrainer Series :: How To Charge the YT-100 and YT-100S

KNOW WHEN TO CHARGE

  • Your handheld remote will indicate a low battery on the top of the LCD Screen

  • Your collar will indicate a low battery with a red light flashing once every 4-5 seconds when there are no buttons being pressed on the handheld remote.

Please note that your collar will have red light anytime you signal a static stimulation from your remote. This is normal and should not be confused with the low battery indicator.

Lift the rubber cover on the remote transmitter.

Make sure to line up the notch on the charger with the ridge in the charging port and plug the charger into the remote.
The Indicator Light will be solid green when charging and takes about 2 hours to complete.

When the remote or collar is finished charging the Indicator Light will flash green.

Power the collar on to continue normal operation.

GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR BATTERY

  • Turn your collar off between charges to preserve your battery.

  • Charge your units once a month if you need to store them for long periods of time.

  • Only charge the remote transmitter and collar when you see the low battery indicator. Overcharging the remote transmitter or collar can shorten the battery life. You may need to charge one unit more often than the other if you are only charging when a charge is needed.
